PIACH MASQUERADE CHARITY GALA

 On December 12, 2025, Mabuhay Fil-Can Inc. proudly participated in the PIACH Masquerade Charity Gala, an elegant evening held in support of the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). The gala brought together community members, partners, and supporters for a night of sophistication, generosity, and celebration of a meaningful cause.


Members of Mabuhay Fil-Can joined the festivities in elegant attire, showcasing Filipino pride, unity, and a spirit of giving. Throughout the evening, the organization actively engaged with attendees, raising awareness and contributing to CHEO’s mission of supporting pediatric healthcare and the well-being of children and families.


The gala’s vibrant atmosphere, live entertainment, and festive décor were amplified by Mabuhay Fil-Can’s presence, highlighting their commitment to community involvement, cultural representation, and philanthropy.

Mabuhay Fil-Can Inc.’s participation in the Masquerade Charity Gala stands as a memorable moment—an inspiring blend of Filipino heritage, community engagement, and heartfelt support for a cause that makes a difference in children’s lives.

PIACH MASQUERADE CHARITY GALA

 On December 6, 2025, Mabuhay Fil-Can Inc. hosted its annual Christmas Party, bringing together community members, leaders, and partners for an evening of celebration, unity, and holiday cheer. The event served as a meaningful gathering that highlighted the spirit of Christmas through fellowship, gratitude, and community connection.
 

The celebration was honored by the presence of distinguished guests, including a representative from the office of Mark Gerretsen, MP, Ted Hsu, MPP, Kingston Mayor Bryan Paterson, members of City Council, the Director of Kingston Youth Shelter, and doctors from the Queen’s University Psychology Clinic.  
Guests enjoyed a warm and festive atmosphere filled with cultural pride, shared meals, and heartfelt conversations. The evening reflected Mabuhay Fil-Can’s commitment to fostering inclusivity, strengthening community partnerships, and celebrating the season of giving with purpose. 
The Christmas Party stood as a memorable occasion—bringing together diverse sectors of the Kingston community in the spirit of goodwill, collaboration, and celebration, while reinforcing Mabuhay Fil-Can Inc.’s ongoing mission to uplift and connect communities during the holiday season.

 On November 22, 2025, Mabuhay Fil-Can Inc. proudly joined the 2025 Kingston Nighttime Santa Parade, bringing the warmth of Filipino holiday spirit to one of the city’s most beloved annual traditions. The parade lit up downtown Kingston with dazzling lights, festive music, and a joyful atmosphere that welcomed families from across the community.


Members of Mabuhay Fil-Can walked together in vibrant holiday-themed attire, showcasing Filipino pride, unity, and the spirit of giving. The group also encouraged attendees to participate in its annual toy drive, collecting unwrapped gifts to support children and families in need during the Christmas season.


As the parade made its way along Princess Street, spectators enjoyed the lively energy, bright smiles, and community spirit that Mabuhay Fil-Can brought to the celebration. The event highlighted the organization’s continued commitment to cultural representation, community involvement, and spreading joy throughout Kingston.


This year’s participation in the Nighttime Santa Parade stands as a memorable moment for Mabuhay Fil-Can Inc.—a beautiful blend of Filipino heritage and Canadian holiday tradition shared with the entire community.

On October 25, 2025, Mabuhay Fil-Can Inc. proudly announced its registration as a non-profit organization and introduced its officers and youth ambassadors during this year’s festive gathering. The Halloween and Thanksgiving Party offered a unique blend of spooky fun and heartfelt celebration, bringing together community members of all ages.


Guests enjoyed creative costumes, engaging games, and delicious autumn treats, immersing themselves in the season’s festive spirit. The event emphasized community, togetherness, and gratitude, creating memorable moments from trick-or-treating to expressions of thanks. This celebration was a joyful showcase of Mabuhay Fil-Can Inc.’s commitment to fostering friendship, cultural pride, and community engagement.

The event focused on strengthening cooperation, sharing ideas, and reaffirming both organizations’ commitment to preserving Filipino culture and community spirit. This partnership marks an important step toward a more connected and resilient Filipino community in Kingston.
