The celebration was honored by the presence of distinguished guests, including a representative from the office of Mark Gerretsen, MP, Ted Hsu, MPP, Kingston Mayor Bryan Paterson, members of City Council, the Director of Kingston Youth Shelter, and doctors from the Queen’s University Psychology Clinic.

On November 22, 2025, Mabuhay Fil-Can Inc. proudly joined the 2025 Kingston Nighttime Santa Parade, bringing the warmth of Filipino holiday spirit to one of the city’s most beloved annual traditions. The parade lit up downtown Kingston with dazzling lights, festive music, and a joyful atmosphere that welcomed families from across the community.
Members of Mabuhay Fil-Can walked together in vibrant holiday-themed attire, showcasing Filipino pride, unity, and the spirit of giving. The group also encouraged attendees to participate in its annual toy drive, collecting unwrapped gifts to support children and families in need during the Christmas season.
As the parade made its way along Princess Street, spectators enjoyed the lively energy, bright smiles, and community spirit that Mabuhay Fil-Can brought to the celebration. On October 25, 2025, Mabuhay Fil-Can Inc. proudly announced its registration as a non-profit organization and introduced its officers and youth ambassadors during this year’s festive gathering. The Halloween and Thanksgiving Party offered a unique blend of spooky fun and heartfelt celebration, bringing together community members of all ages.
Guests enjoyed creative costumes, engaging games, and delicious autumn treats, immersing themselves in the season’s festive spirit. The event emphasized community, togetherness, and gratitude, creating memorable moments from trick-or-treating to expressions of thanks.
