 It was a heartfelt and eye‑opening experience for Mabuhay Fil‑Can Inc. as we visited Threads of Hope Kingston today to drop off clothing donations. Upon arriving, we were met with rows of empty racks—an immediate reminder of how great the need is within our community.

The staff shared how urgently they require adult clothing, shoes, jackets, sweaters, pants, shirts, and other wearable items to support individuals and families who rely on their services. Despite the heavy reality, we were deeply moved by the kindness of everyone who has already contributed, and we extend our sincere gratitude to all donors who continue to show generosity and compassion.

Mabuhay Fil‑Can Inc. is honored to stand alongside Threads of Hope in this effort. We are equally grateful to our volunteers whose dedication and community spirit make moments like this possible. Together, we can help refill those empty racks and bring comfort, dignity, and hope to those who need it most.

 On January 13, 2026, the Mabuhay Youth Ambassadors continued their community service efforts by partnering with Threads of Hope in Kingston, Ontario. 

Together with the Mabuhay Fil-Can Inc. Board of Directors, they toured the facility to learn about its work and donated clothing to support individuals experiencing homelessness. The initiative strengthened community partnerships and reflected Mabuhay’s ongoing commitment to service, dignity, and hope.

 It was a truly remarkable experience to have partnered with and supported the Kingston Interval House, and we're deeply thankful to everyone involved. Our heartfelt appreciation extends to the generous donors, particularly the donor who kindly provided an abundance of designer clothes. 

Mabuhay is honored and grateful for the kindness of each contributor. We also appreciate our dedicated volunteers who made the meet, greet, and feed event with the KIH family truly special.

In the spirit of giving, our community came together to support Kingston Interval House, with Dominique from KIH joining us as the event’s speaker and official representative. Dominique graciously received the donations on behalf of KIH, as we extended hope and comfort to women and children in need. Through generous contributions of essentials, clothing, and personal care items, we helped make a meaningful difference in the lives of those seeking safety and a fresh start
